The Shop Retail Scale with Pole Display can either be used stand alone or interfaced to a compatible Cash Register or Point of Sale System.
If the scale is used as a stand alone unit, item(s) are simply placed on the scale platter and the price is then entered at a per kilogram rate. The operator / customer pole display will show the weight, price per kilogram and the calculated price. Twenty eight (28) preset item / price keys are available for "speedy" sales processing.
If the Shop Retail Scale is interfaced to a Cash Register or POS System via the standard communications port then the item(s) are simply placed on the scale platter to weigh. The relevant product button on the Cash Register or POS System is pressed which transfers the weight for price calculation. The Retail Manager POS Software has scale interface as standard.
The dimensions of the platter are: 340mm (Width) and 215mm (Depth)
The scale can either be purchased as 15kg (Max. Weight) x 5g (Increments) or 30kg (Max. Weight) x 10g (Increments) |

The Label Printing Scale is ideal for Deli's, Supermarkets, Fruit & Veg Stores etc as a pre-pack scale. The "Auto Print" function allows for rapid pre-packing of the same item type. ie. set the scale to, say, 'Fetta Cheese'. Each time a tray of 'Fetta Cheese' is placed on the scale, a product label automatically prints. Labels are of a free form design allowing you to tailor them to suit your own business needs. Typical label detail may include; product ingredients, cooking / preparation instructions, suggested 'use by' date, purchase date, price embedded barcode, your business name, address, logo etc.
A serial communications port comes as standard allowing you to link the Label Printing Scale to your back office computer. FREE software is provided for up / down load programming. An ethernet network card can also be installed as an optional extra.
The maximum label size is 58mm (Width) and 100mm (Length). The inbuilt thermal printer produces labels at 100mm per second. Access POS stocks pre-printed 58 x 40mm and 58 x 60mm (suggested for ingredient printing). Custom order for other sizes. |

The Cash Register Receipt & Label Printing Scale is ideal for Butchers, Deli, Gourmet Food, Seafood Stores etc. The Cash Register Scale can be either standalone with a cash drawer or multiple units can be linked together along the shop counter allowing your shop staff to "float" between scales as they serve customers. Your shop staff initially enter their operator code then weigh / register the item(s). They can "pick-up" the partially completed transaction at any other scale as they move along the shop counter with your customer. Transactions can be completed (money taken) at any Cash Register Scale that is fitted with a cash drawer.
The Cash Register Scale can either have a thermal receipt paper roll installed, which would usually be the case if the scale had a cash drawer attached, or product labels, if you wanted to use the scale as a packaging scale. If you have multiple scales along the counter you may consider having one 'central scale' with a cash drawer and receipt roll and the other(s) with packing labels.
The Cash Register Scale has up to 60 preset keys on the operator keyboard for one touch registration although several thousand products can be programmed utilising product look-up codes. Label design is very similar to the ABM LP-1 Scale, detailed above. |
